  TOPIC: ADDED 1 NEW PROJECT:

- Correlizer..........: added to Production

Genomes are fantastic keepers of genetic information and are the outcome of evolutionary replication, mutation and selection. Correlizer has been set up to unravel these mysteries, and we found long-range power-law correlations on almost the entire observable scale of 132 completely sequenced chromosomes of 0.5 x 10^6 to 3.0 x 10^7 bp.

  TOPIC: BOINC SERVER BACK UP:

Seems that the BOINC web/Alpha server took a dump and went offline on Monday, October 31. As Matt Labofsky puts it:
The BOINC web/alpha project server went kaput on Monday, the day I returned. This wasn't the worst tragedy, as all I had to do was reinstall the OS. However during that process one of the non-OS filesystems in the machine got screwed up.

As of October 31, 2011, the main BOINC server is not accessible. There is no reason given for its unavailability. The temporary page says that it will become available as soon as possible.

NumberFields@home searches for fields with special properties. The primary application of this research is in the realm of algebraic number theory. NumberFields@home is based at the school of mathematics at Arizona State University.
