Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter by Seth Grahame-Smith

Hello Crew,

Do you like a good Zombie story?  Are you a fan of Abraham Lincoln?  Did you ever dream of these two concepts coming together?  While it may not be as good as chocolate and peanut butter it's still a fun and unexpected cross over. 

I started this book with only the lowest of expectations and I have been rewarded for my bravery with a mildly entertaining story that sees me wanting to finish it. Lincoln is, of course, a hero of mine and I do enjoy a good Zombie story. Grahame-Smith delivers but it's not quite as good as "Interview with a Vampire," by Anne Rice, which I loved. The writer is adequate but not as good a Rice and certainly not up to the same quality as Edgar Allen Poe or Robert Heinline.

So, if you have some time to kill and a penchant for the odd, try this book and let me know what you think.
